Bama/UGA part 2 better be as good as the last one, because this post season has been a yawner.

It's interesting how the conversation is pivoted. Originally when we went from the mythical national championship era, to the BCS and finally to the playoffs It was all in order to find the best way to crown a champion. We wanted to get rid of split champions and ensure that at the very least the best team to play each other (which didn't happen in the mythical title era). And

Now the narrative has changed from finding the best way to crown a champion to getting more teams engaged late in the season.

Georgia with their chest out. The better not lay another egg on the 10th

Yo please never invite Cincinnati and Michigan to the playoffs just like Notre Dame and Oklahoma

This whole playoffs is about $$$. How can you keep selling the SEC to rest of America. People will start to tune out.

Never knew James and Dalvin are brothers

Some families just blessed with all the athleticism :{

It was always about getting more teams involved imo.

The years where there were multiple deserving teams weren’t frequent enough to justify a playoff. You had 2002, 2003, 2007, 2008, and like 2011. Besides that we generally knew who the two best teams were. We just wanted to make the other 23 teams believe they had something to play for.

The rest of the country doesn’t care about SEC Vs SEC. They needed a way to try to engage the rest of the population while still propping up their cash cow the SEC.

The irony is people expected more fair competition and what the playoff committee has done is manipulate their rankings to fix the 1 Vs 2-3 matchup they want to see anyway.

Why I think ppl seem to forget about jamaree salyer. Now that he is finally healthy for us again our Oline looks better. IM THANKFUL!!!
💯💯💯 Salyer played great and definitely earned himself some money today. Completely neutralized Hutchinson. No one really noticed, but he did a great job against Will Anderson in the SEC title game too.
