would have been cool to see Moore stay in state. Give Michigan a great QB for once.

Michigan NIL gotta be weak, yeah?
Not weak… Guys already making over a million on the roster… Just a weird approach… The arrogance that runs through that University is frustrating.. Close minded and will not adapt to the times… Feels like they caught lightning in a bottle last year

I knew I’d posted about this a year ago…

Miami is pulling out all the stops for this NIL thing. Salute to them. I always thought that Dwayne Johnson was underutilized by Miami as far as football goes (or maybe he's just too busy). One of the biggest actors in Hollywood is not only a Miami alum but a former football player? Got to use that to your advantage every. single. day.

He’s damn near a billionaire and highest grossing actor in Hollywood . Would assume it’s pretty hard to get his time. Having Mario back and Alonzo Highsmith too will help with getting all of the old Canes back into the fold. Manny Diaz wasn’t capable of that. Hell, even Mark Richt isn’t close to being on the level that Mario is in Canes’ lore.

I feel like with all this conference expansion we are going to lose big OOC games in the future.

I feel like there’s still money to be made with the Alabama vs. Ohio State type matchups OOC, so they’ll try to keep those.

I also hope that we don’t lose buy games since a lot of these smaller schools depend on that revenue to stay afloat.

Should still be space on the schedule for 1 big OOC if a team wants it…The problem is you replacing some of the “easier” games with new conference games now that they expanding so the possible extra L gotta really be worth it

That’s what I mean in terms of potential losses. Money wise they are a big draw but if these conferences go to 20-24 teams I’d imagine they’re going to all have to play 10 conference games. So will the powerhouse teams schedule each other still after running their conference gauntlets?

I think if the B1G wanted Oregon and UW as high priority they would have brought them in at the same time as the other two to keep the Pac from trying to interfere with subsequent moves.

Oregon was completely blindsided by the LA schools leaving, and it’s a move that hurts them on multiple levels, so there was no communication there prior.
Thamel saying the same thing I did:

“Any cries for Oregon and Washington in the Big Ten should be tempered by the reality that if USC and UCLA wanted them there in the first place, they'd probably be there. Those schools appear to value owning Los Angeles and the rich recruiting market much more. They have a monopoly on the West Coast. Why invite in your top competition?”

They don’t really have a choice the way this thing is headed. Independent won’t be a thing with super conferences.
These conferences stretch to 20+ teams and OOC games against literally anyone worth a **** are gonna be dead.

If they're not proactively looking at this as a potential existential crisis, they're brain dead.
