Ngl. As a Filipino it’s hard to see Pacquiao retire. I never usually get extremely caught up in pride when it comes to race or ethnicity but it was amazing as a youngin to see someone waving the Philippines flag on a world stage as big as that. Going to all the family parties and if there was a Pacman fight that night it was guaranteed to be on. Everyone gathered around and passionate as if it was one of our cousins fighting that night.
My grandparents had a lot of pride in Pacquiao. He was a class act and did the Filipino people proud.

We've been privileged to watch Manny evolve through the decades.
Though the late years of Pacman weren't as electrifying as his earlier years, one thing never changed: his fighting spirit, warrior mentality, and undying dedication and respect for the sport.
His influence on other boxers trying to be great is unquestioned. His style of fighting and almost perfect blend of speed, power, and timing, unique in it's own, was an absolute thrill to watch because he brought a martial arts element to his movement and fighting style.
