no mention of Julian Fleming? Expecting him and Gee Scott to make some noice. You guys are stacked at WR.

Stroud is going to be just fine.

Ah yeah I wasn’t even thinking about them two. Passing game will be nice. Gotta see what the RB situation is, unfortunately I don’t think Teague is the answer

I'm seeing many mocks having Olave in the first round before he just announced he was coming back. But he for sure probably didn't get a 100% 1st round grade.

He's better than Amon in my opinion. Amon is just going to be an ordinary WR. His best case scenario is 800 yards per season. Golden Tate lite is how I see him.
I can see the Amon Ra and Golden Tate comparison. I think ARSB's intangible is more his mentality than physical. He's a dog. You also know he's going to 100% kill his combine workouts.

But just for argument's sake: I googled NFL Draft 2021 rankings and these are the first few results that came up:

CBS have ARSB as the 7th WR taken which is good for 2nd round. They have Olave as the 11th: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospect-rankings/wide-receivers/wide-receivers

ESPN don't even have ARSB and a bunch of other guys listed as draft eligible WRs but they have Olave 7th: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft/bestavailable/_/position/wr/page/1

Walter football as of last week had Amon Ra going 3rd round to Washington, https://walterfootball.com/draft2021_3.php

PFF immediately after the NCG have Olave going 31st overall: https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2021...end-pick-no-12-to-miami-for-qb-tua-tagovailoa

This mock has Amon Ra as the 49th overall prospect. 8th WR taken https://thedraftnetwork.com/prospect-rankings

This one has him listed as #34 and the 8th WR prospect. Olave is 7th. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-draft-prospects-2021-updated-big-board-player-rankings/
Edit, saw they just dropped a new mock today that has Amon Ra going in the 2nd round to washington which seems to be where a few other mocks have him. Maybe because Washington has expressed interest?

So that's 1 out of 7 randomly selected mock drafts that have Olave going in the first round, and for the most part seemingly the majority opinion being he's a 2nd-3rd round pick. Mostly the same for Amon Ra except his highest grade is 2nd.

Nah we good with CJ, Miller, and Ewers

Risking it for Fields is one thing. That worked well but also destroyed QB depth. But his talent was worth the risk. Doubt he will be Fields 2.0

I’d be concerned about Ewers flipping back to Texas until the day he signs.

But I also wouldn’t take a non-mega star transfer with Stroud sitting in the wings.

Same way I felt about A&M quarterback shopping this offseason with Haynes King sitting there ready to go.

Hopkins is a clown but SC fans are upset with the hire. I imagine @casper90403is underwhelmed. I actually don’t mind it. Waiting to see how well he recruits, but he’s coached a unanimous all American, some all Pac guys, and a handful of first and 2nd round draft picks at Wazzu. I don’t mind having a guy who can actually teach the scheme instead of Drevno who’s under delivered.

I have no dog in the race, but Ewers seems like a kid that flip back UT in the end

I wish FSU had a shot @ that Klubnik kid

We’ve talked about this in here but there’s been whispers tO$U thinks Stroud ain’t it and he was just keeping Ewers’s seat warm for him. Then recruiting over Stroud sorta kinda confirms this.

I think we’ll see at least 2 of them transfer at some point between CJ, Miller, and Ewers. I also forgot about McCord who is also very talented. QB room will be full of talent but in this day if them talented QBs don’t start they leave.

As for Stroud, some say he’s going to be Fields 2.0 (I hate that label) and some say he’s meh.

Is this dude transferring actually a dual threat? Obviously he can put up numbers on both sides but is he a polished passer? I’d rather have someone who can pass great and scramble when needed than someone who runs a ton and is a mediocre passer, especially with the weapons at WR

Sark has made Ewers priority #1

LSU copped him a crib and his family MOVED to Baton Rouge.

He hates it at LSU but he knew that in November 2019 and his parents wouldn’t let him flip to USC. They forced him to sign that NLI they’re not about to return that dow payment

He also started as a true frosh and will be in the nfl in two years. I’ll believe he transfers when I see it.

Cc: casper90403 casper90403 to confirm my assessment.
