Playing Boban was a bad move? He was alright out there. Some nice passes, easy finishes. I mean yeah his defense but still.
i agree,, not much options for carlisle. ya want him to put in willie caulie stein?
kleiber wasn't hitting shots and kawhi had his way on the other end when he was playing.

carlisle put out his best lineup. luka maxed out with the supporting cast. it just wasn't enough
work needs to be done offseason. can't come back with the same talent on the roster

Where are you, "Stars need to do more " dudes?
If your referring to Dallas they need a whole new system imo and some sort of identity. Relying on one guy for everything will never lead to much and may be unfair to him long term unless he's about stats. Even those earlier cavs teams with Bron were known for solid defense and offensive rebounding with big z and varejao. What's Dallas identity aside from shooting threes and Luka gettin saucy?

Non MVP finalist Luka got his team to the playoffs

More than a certain looter can say

couldn't even save his team from play-in elimination against a team whose star is a sophmore.

At 22 what Luka is doing is amazing. Dallas rarely lands the top free agents, but they gotta get some better players around him via trade during his current contract.

With KP it's a mix of both. He's heavily regressed because of injuries and the chemistry with Luka is terrible. They'll probably look to trade him.

Hate to sound like one of the sports talk shows, but I really get the impression Luka and KP don’t like each other. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen two “stars” who dont appear to communicate at all on the court. KP looked like he was just going through the motions the whole series. No urgency, no aggressiveness. Just running around.

What can a KP and Josh Richardson package net in a trade?

KP isnt the same player. Lost all his athleticism. No more facials, put back dunks, iso crossovers. It's all gone. They're hiding that behind "he was playing within the offense" and "system player"

But I agree, they don't like each other. KP has an ego, the better dude took over, KP cant do anything to back it up bc he sucks now. So he takes a back seat.

Gonna go down as a terrible contract now.
