Suns Nation thanks you for the support famb.

It’s not uncommon for league mvps to flame out in rd 2. See LeBron in 2009 & 2010. And Giannis in 2019. It happens. Since the 2000 seasons, these are the league MVPS that have led their teams to the finals in the same season.

Very small and elite company. Jokic and them just upset a better (on paper) roster and another mvp candidate in rd 1. And put up stupid numbers. Be critical of him in this series, all you want. But to act like he doesn’t “deserve” the mvp…because his team may not advance against a better team is dumb.

Thought Denver would show more life this series but damn they look beat

Finally watched Nets/Bucks Game 2 highlights and Lord they took turns cookin Giannis

Injuries are part of the damn game man 🤦🏾‍♂️. Cmon lol.

James Harden quit on his team…to join a super team with 2 superstars already. That used to “cancel out” ppl from mvp talks until it didn’t. Then he got hurt.

and that "cancelling out" concept, at least round my way, popped up as soon as KD and Curry linked lol

We do too much historical comparisons in here. Can’t appreciate what a guy is doing in the present cause we thinking about what he (or even somebody else) did years ago. Take out his age, his playoff history, someone else’s accomplishments, and what the suns did last year, and just watch. Man is hooping. Applaud that ****.

some people were so damn mad at him, it was baffling to me.

Now the playoffs are and it's like it never happened.
It was legit just a few hours when everyone went from hating him to kicking back and enjoying the all star game like nothing happened. Never made sense to me how you could hate the idea of all star weekend in a pandemic but be cool watching games every night that pose the same risk

Malone is not the reason the Nuggets are losing/will lose this series, but I don’t think he’s doing himself any favors by calling all his players “quitters” in his post-game presser. Desperate and amateurish.

He from the JVG tree. I don't know why he using that approach in today's league.

Historically most people to win MVP didn't win a championship in the same year
Typically to win MVP your team has to be good but not so good that you're not doing some serious heavy lifting
In the regular season this works out just fine but in the playoffs we've consistently seen it's not a solid championship formula
