You are fool if you think that there's no difference between Gobert and Capella

Let's be frank here. There's NOTHING marketable about a 7 ft French dude in America who can't really score in large quantities. Jokic is a machine, and no one cares he won the MVP. Embiid is def marketable, because of his personality and style of play. But how many Embiid's are we going to have?

Besides, the game is much more exciting with the shooting we have right now. I wouldn't change it TBH. I'd just allow more physical play in the perimeter, because of the stuff these guys are doing to get to the line is insane. Just my 2 cents though 🤷‍♂️

But the casual fan and nba media constantly hates and ****s on the game. The state of the big man. The fact that big men “shoot 3s” etc.

When in reality, this is the most diverse and talented set of bigs since the 90s.

ESPN….ran an ENTIRE series about the “decline of the big man” in 2020. And had the nerve to have Roy Hibbert chime in on it :rollin

Is it the right or smart pass? Sure. But thats not an "offensive skillset."

1 minute of basic bases over a shorter defender on set plays where he knows there's a cutter.

That back door pass was nice though.

He can get abused on certain matchups but over the course of a season . Rim Protection >

We’ve seen golden state and Houston run Gobert off the floor.

And then we saw Murray have a historic series on him.

he ain’t Draymond. He ain’t AD. He ain’t Giannis. He ain’t Bam. And he ain’t my DPOY

What we saw was:

James Harden & Chris Paul run Rudy Gobert off the floor.

Steph Curry, Kevin Durant & Klay Thompson run Rudy Gobert off the floor.

I won’t even address the bubble* stuff.

Right now…DPOY Giannis is getting ran off the floor by Kevin Durant & Kyrie….. and James Harden has played 30 seconds Literally :lol

Cmon man. You better than this.

Chuck is another one I don't get. Man was one of the prototypes for the modern big
An undersized 4 that could handle, pass and stretched the floor (for his era)
Everyone trying to play like he did is a decline?
I'd never stop singing the praises of the modern big if I was him

We saw Giannis eliminate jimmy. Bubble or not. We saw Bam blow up all pnr actions. Bubble or not.

Wavy spinning things saying Giannis is getting ran off the floor but then saying it’s ok that goober gets exploited by all world guys

Show me Mitchell Robinson making the same passes

It’s not just NT he’s probably the most widely hated player.

I don’t hate him but don’t especially like him either. My guess is people don’t like him because he’s French, plays for the Jazz, he’s a big man and more reasonably his skill set is very specialized and limited so he’s a really weird “star”.
Youre probably right, but these are laughable.

And Bam’s offense is nearly as atrocious and he’s adored.

Chill Bam's ability on the offense is a million times better than Goberts. Bam can literally initiate an offense.

Gobert is all offensive rebound putbacks, lobs, and 2 foot hook shots. More of a roll threat.

these are hilarious. It’s a highlight reel of passes. You can likely find one on any starter in the league.

Passing is 100% a skill. Dude was at 2 assists per game in like 19 minutes of game action. Can’t say it was the system because Boston as whole didn’t pass well.

he can make plays

Bam is the secondary (sometimes primary) playmaker on his team and he shoots and makes jumpshots
