No no no.

LeBron’s unvaccinated *** does not get to go party with Drake and then play in the playoffs two days later.

While Chris Paul is about to be out and isolated for the next 14 days because he got close to “someone”. NOPE. This must STOP.

So CP3 is possibly out for practically the entire WCF and Kawhi is out indefinitely?\

Why is CP out when LeBron got to play for almost the same situation?

Kawhi taking precaution with the knee? No way he misses the whole series, right? Right?!

NBA was greedy AF making the players play last year, and then having them bang out a condensed season this year. Look at the effect it's had on the players. But of course the NBA and these white owners aren't going to gaf about the health of PoC. ******* stupid baby ***** move :smh:

AD Healthy on an actual Contender ended with a chip & a dominate playoffs on both ends... Giannis fully healthy looks like it's topping out in the second round. DUDE IS SHOOTING 50% FROM THE FT LINE.

Can't rely on him to get a basket when you need it, Can't put him on the other teams best player for even short periods.
How often has he been healthy? Can he do this without a 3 month break mid year?

But CP3 probably got it because of the time slapped on him, Lebron didn’t actually get it.

Don’t make any sense about cp3 with nationwide cases being lowest they been since covid started

Kawhi does not make sense either. He kept playing the game, no MRI’s, just being cautious and going all in for game 7

That’s what I’m thinking. CP must actually have tested positive for COVID or else they would figure out a way to let him slide for just a protocol violation.

He was pretty healthy from 2016-2019 played 75 games in 16, 17, 18 and would have been near that mark in 19 if the Pels didn't shut him down for the trade fiasco.
Glad you brought up the times where he was the best player on teams that went nowhere.

Kawhi is probably out for the series.
CP news isn’t as big. If the Jazz win in 6, cp misses what, 1 game? Maybe 2 at worst. Not that big of a deal.

If CP3 tested positive for COVID, then he's officially the most unfortunate NBA player in history. It's a real shame, because his legacy and story told about him may be overshadowed by his misfortunes.

I was rooting for him and the Suns this year as well. Hate that this had to happen to him, man :emoji_frowning2:

Crappy news all around with Kawhi and Chris Paul.

As for the bubble itself. Given the circumstances and uncertainty last year. They did what they could. They weren’t going to lose all that money. Teams played damn near 70 games prior to the shutdown, so they wanted to determine a champion, same with the NHL. Had things got shutdown 30-40 games in perhaps they cancel the remainder season, but they had a large enough sample size of season to justify the playoffs. Granted a 4 month layoff is unconventional, but a pandemic never disrupted a season before so a lot of this was done on the fly and it’s alot easier to play Monday morning quarterback now.

The short turnaround is what blows my mind though. The season ended on October 13th. To start the new season 70 days later was so shortsighted. If the goal was to ultimately go back to the traditional October to June format for 2021-22, they were inevitably going to have a short offseason in some capacity if they didn’t do a significantly reduced schedule this season.

Starting the season in February and doing a 50 game season would’ve made so much more sense, but money talks..

The Kawhi logic is absurd.

Exactly. Why would anyone play with fire, especially during critical games in the playoffs? I'm worried he may be out for the rest of the playoffs. It's the same knee/leg he's had issues with in the past, right?

They really need a long off season. To kinda get things back to norm if there is such a thing. I was against the players playing last year then and now. Threw/throws everything off.

Today I found out Reggie Miller is a NTer
