I understand that the playoffs are a TV show and about money. But I think 6 would have been ideal and the first two seeds get a bye. 12 teams are going to lead to more bama vs Cincinnati games like last year, where it’s over early and it’s still 3.5 qtrs to play.

Exactly 6 teams would have blowouts too. No format is avoiding that unless you want the BCS. Which also had blowouts lmao

I think the current committee is a joke and I don’t trust them. I prefer the BCS computers with the top teams playing in a playoff.
