Tax Slayer Bowl was absolutely nuts. Honestly, I don't know why people complain about bowl season, opt-outs or not there have been some very compelling games over the last couple of days. Notre Dame's offensive line and running backs play lights out in the second half. If Hartman plays well next year, Notre Dame should be very good. Also need to give Freeman a lot of credit for keeping the team together after the slow start.

I haven’t been more proud of a coach than I am of Freeman. Clowns on the ND boards were calling him Ty Willingham but dude is the goods. He kept things together and outside of a few bad stretches early on they had an excellent season given their schedule and QB situation. That win against Clemson was huge.
