This morning I drove 90 minutes south to Diamond Joe’s Casino in Northwood, IA, placed 10 dimes on my Gophers.

I continued my drive south toward the middle of Iowa (state of the first caucuses) until I reached a cornfield in Bumfrick, Nowhere, and I’m now fittingly sitting in the dirt in the middle of somebody’s Des Moines cornfield, with a handheld ‘90s portable TV, watching the game.

Looks like the gamecocks have quit on Shane beamer. They're not giving any effort against Missouri. Also, Missouri looks like they are legitimately good. Probably the second best team in the SEC East

This is one of those unbreakable records. Nobody else going forward is going to have five years as a starter

Have to be good enough yet not good enough to break this record.
Gotta be good enough where a team is willing to pay you more than a 7th round draft pick to keep you in college, and bad enough where its not a guarantee you'll ever see a bigger pay day.

It's like Tyler Hansborough being the North Carolina basketball all-time leading scorer. Good enough to start for 4 years and play at any level but not good enough to leave early for the NBA

I think Christian Laettner starting in 4 straight final fours is another of those likely untouchable records. Id put that a hair above Tyler's record of just slightly more possible given a player could be that solid starter who's not really a star but with today's NCAA ball still seems hard to fathom.
