Of course they can, and should. USC is playing a lot of dudes and literally using this as a scrimmage. BUT, I need to start seeing something with this D. I don't sugarcoat things. If you suck, you suck. I won't look for the positives.

Right now, they are playing C+ ball on the defensive side.

They can but they'll need their D to step up more if they expect to beat higher competition than SJS. Can't just expect to win shootouts against teams like UW, UO and Utah.
