I didn’t catch the A&M game, Weigman got benched for Marcel Reed? N41D N41D tmay407 tmay407
Yup - he was awful.

Some of it is him, but a lot of it is just their total lack of talent at receiver and they really don't pass block well despite how well they block and create lanes in the run game. They don't really have a single receiver that can consistently and reliably create space... Every throw feels like it's into tight windows.

But he's largely also been consistently awful operating from clean pockets all year.

They're kind of in a spot right now they just desperately need the consistent threat of the QB run game to open things up offensively. The offensive line mauls defensive fronts on the ground - really feels like they just need to lean into that, let Reed play the next 4 weeks out and have some momentum/more experience going into Texas and a potential SEC title game. The defense is ready.

They have nothing to worry about

Let's just say there will be no payback for 2003 (Michigan getting worked at Oregon). Although, that does remind me that Oregon made the cover of SI after that win in 2003. WSU came into Autzen the following week and smacked them, 55-13.

Oregon also walked into Ann Arbor in 2007 the week after Appalachian State shocked the CFB world and absolutely wrecked Michigan. That will happen again when Oregon does to UM what Texas did earlier this season.

Don't even remember the rematch, but I was not paying attention to CFB during that time. Michigan is gonna get stomped by Oregon though.

Speaking of former Pac-12 teams in the Big 10, Washington continues to be hilarious. They still have to go to Penn State (White Out game) and Oregon. However, it's crazy that Washington has out gained every opponent so far (Indiana was only a difference of six yards, but still), but cannot finish drives or games. Their kicker got that full ride after clutch FGs last season, and has fallen apart. A 5-0 start was expected, but two bad losses, and two home wins that look less and less impressive every week...not fun times over at Montlake.

I don't think I've ever seen a recruiting class fall apart this badly without some type of scandal or coaching change. FSU literally has 10 commits in their 2025 class.

Well then Let’s take a trip down memory lane:

Dennis Dixon was the Heisman favorite until he blew out his knee late in the year.

atlsfinest atlsfinest Georgia taking him or nah? He was at A&M over the weekend.

He's 100% a take for Georgia. I've joked that he's been a silent UGA commit for months. Even when he committed to FSU during the summer, It came as a surprise to everyone and he didn't look very excited about it. He literally said that he's committing to FSU "right now"and he never closed his commitment.

Obviously Texas a&m is going to be in the thick of the race as well. I would imagine that Georgia and Texas a&m are the frontrunners for now.

I figured ... Elko gonna need this old Aggie Brinks trucks to start fueling up and firing on all cylinders.

He's earned it - the big dawgs need to break the banks back open.

We’ll let you have him I guess

(Kidding)

Lane comes across as being kind of whiny here but he does have a fair point about LSU playing a ton of night games. Part of the reason they cultivate the reputation of "death valley at night"is because the SEC gives LSU a ton of night games every year. LSU plays night games against cupcakes sometimes. It's wild

Ope. Need the targeting experts from Saturday to explain

“By rule, that is targeting because the defender led with his shoulder and made contact with the head and neck of the wide receiver. This is one area where the rule fails. What else can he do better?”
