I don't think you understand. These are the 2 teams I HATE the most in CFB.

Exactly what it was.
Upon further consideration, I forgot ND’s kicker has been injured/sucky all season and they’ve ran fake FGs a few times. So PSU was probably guarding against that too, though it’d be pretty ballsy for Freeman to run a fake in that situation.

I noticed that stat said he was 6/12, was he kicking injured most of the season or did he actually miss time and that’s how he was when healthy?

I saw that and thought they were crazy for trying to kick one so far out but then they eventually got closer

Sport is cooked. Can't believe the kid is saying this on commitment day and I am surprised the coaches are taking this commitment.

Why's this any different than a coach taking a gig at Louisiana-Monroe?

That ain't anyone's end game and never has been.

Coach 100% also sitting there trying to figure out if he can get more guys to think this way, crush a year and take another gig.

I know he had a lingering groin issue, but didn’t he absolutely suck vs NIU to start the year? I think it was a mix of injuries and the yips.

That’s probably how they sold it to him. We know JUCO’s pitch kids that way, and realistically low G5s are becoming similar feeders.

I mean all these players are “rentals” when you look at it big picture. They can transfer in for a year or they can commit to a team for a year and head elsewhere. If a program isn’t paying them handsomely, giving them PT, or competing for titles with great coaching (and even that’s not always enough) then they’re more than likely gone

He could’ve gone to a P5 school and said the same thing

Shout out to Carson and his representation for negotiating a great deal. 🫡

He's going to do great things in Miami
