There is no doubt that they have been successful in the ACC, especially the first decade when they dominated the league, but they are currently suing to get out of the league and into the SEC or B1G. Finebaum was right in the long run.

I don’t like the man at all. He’s bashed Miami for ages. But when I read that article I was shocked at how right he ended up being about the SEC becoming the dominant force in the sport. Keep in mind he wrote that in 1990, long before they were the top dog.
