If they’re doing all this extra stuff, why can’t Lincoln just dismiss him from the team? I can’t imagine him being around the team is positive

If Bear just stays and keeps developing at UGA then he'd be 10 games away from being an Eagle right now. Hell, if he kept developing over the course of the year and had a great end to the season he could still go high in the draft w/ his traits. Braden Fiske literally went from a 6/7th round pick to a 2nd rounder based off of his last 1/3-1/4 of the season + his combine performance.

Also, imagine thinking that you HAVE to play 45+ snaps a game as a IDL in order to go high in the draft
Thank you for Fiske. Can't wait until he gets a year under his belt.

Goes without saying for Verse too. We got lucky with these 2

There’s no reason Ewers should play in that game. Miss State is absolutely abysmal
Arch was bad vs ULM. You didn’t notice certain noise got quiet? Miss state is a conference game, so no matter how down they are that’s potentially dangerous.

Always a risk with a conference game but if they can’t put Arch out there and beat a team who got blown out by Toledo they’ve got issues lol. I’d just hate to see Ewers get hurt in a game like that. Or at least pull him early if he does start

Does this even matter anymore? Dave Portnoy, who owns a sportsbook, came out and publically pledged millions for Michigan to find a star QB in the portal. The wall that used to exist between sports and gambling is nonexistent at this point.
In a pro sports context it definitely is. This is another problem with there being no NIL rules in place . Kids are reporting being harassed more than ever by bettors, but we’re going to let people affiliated with Sportsbooks pay them?

Oh don’t get me wrong, the entire dynamic makes me wildly uncomfortable. There needs to be more regulatory bodies to preserve the integrity of the game.

Are we sure the team wants to keep Sluka? Their best receiver (and the others?) are tweeting excited about the backup.
