Was super hyped to unDS my cocoa snakes today, but five minutes into my morning commute I deeply regretted slipping them on.
Other than being a retro, I don't get the black box designation considering there’s nothing premium about them, especially the lack of padding around the ankle.
At least they look good, I guess.

Yep. Joints are HELLA stiff. I tried to like them but couldn’t do it. Ended up taking a loss on GOAT getting rid of them.
They did look great on foot when I was standing still though.

DopeI agree. I’m basically getting one for free. They said they ran out of material and as soon as the manufacturer gets it in they’ll get my pairs made and shipped out. The funny part is, 2 out of 3 is the basic cliche pairs that you see of Nigel IDs, and one is a homage to the Nike Air Force 1 “Campers”. Nothing to elaborate...

No Pendleton AF1 ID this year, but the wool used on the Maharishi’s is Pendleton wool.

Dope option at Nike Soho! You can customize the AF1 low, mid, high. I could customize swoosh, laces, lace locks, and they gave me a marker for the shoes. Super happy with how these came out!

I just got the notification in my nike+ app that they're doing af1 customization at nike soho again, but the link within the app to book is broken.

So it’s $90. You pay retail AF1 price and can choose a black or white pair. Then you can either dye, camo, or custom marker draw on your pair. You can also customize swoosh, laces, lace locks. You get an hour
