AF1's will never get old for me im 18 now still rockin them white on white mids and lows. None wrong wid it. If you a true sneakerhead you would not buy into all this hype. You should just get what you really like and aint leave in the closet. I cop em to rock em Never cop em to stock em.
See but a dope colorway to u is not necessarily a dope colorway to someone else. For instance I'm not particularly fond of the year of the snakes while I think the materials are dope the color placement is off and wouldn't think twice about making a thread on it. But other people seem to love the shoe
Maaaan when is Nike gonna re-up on some white/white high tops??? They need to quit playing and drop a pair. Last pair I THINK was 03
Yikes is right. Different stokes, different folks though.
Although you rarely see a shoe on someones foot from this angle.Yikes!
feel like boots tooThey look like boots.
so basically, these AF-1s are ugly?Yikes!
already released on nike.comWhats the release date on these????
nice!
Is that a penny foamposite af1?
Just saw confirmation that its a copper colored foamposite af1
The strap has some writings on it that may have someting to do with bhm,Just saw confirmation that its a copper colored foamposite af1
WTF are they thinking. As an African American male I feel appalled that this would be an example of bhm. I mean the ones in years past actually had things on the shoe relatable to bhm or at least the heritage of African Americans. But this **** right here is just disappointing

If you like them, no need to worry about what anyone else says. That's the beauty of sneakers, IMO. One man's junk is another man's treasure. Do you.so basically, these are AF-1s are ugly?Yikes!
Not worried one bit, and I agree with you. I was just asking because sometimes I get annoyed with the passive-agressive tone that is ubiquitous on these forums. I mean, people should just say what they mean, hopefully we all know by now that someone else's opinion isn't a personal insult (plus my wife hates sneakers and gives me much worse haha). We are all adults, and I respect someone who thinks my **** is ugly just as much as someone who thinks my kicks are the best. In fact, one of the posters was right, my cuffs were huge and sloppy in those photos. I appreciate the advise and it always helps to get a second opinion- no need to pull punches. And I will be the first to admit that, at my age, some of the nuances regarding what makes one sneaker ugly, but another worth risking life and limb completely elude me. Gad to be here, nonetheless! If you like them, no need to worry about what anyone else says. That's the beauty of sneakers, IMO. One man's junk is another man's treasure. Do you.

I hear you.
I'm a white dude myself, but I actually feel a lot of what Nike does around BHM is a bit exploitative. I mean, sometimes they pay lip service to the cause with some reference or whatever, but at the end of the day you are still attempting to commemorate BHM through a request that people be consumers. It's like a guilt trip - yo, you guys care about BHM? If so, you should buy this shoe.
I actually feel that way about Doermbacher too.
I don't need any damn limited shoes - you want to show people you actually care - donate a big *** sum of money somewhere meaningful without asking for anything in return from your consumer base, how 'bout that?
At least with LiveStrong and the breast cancer stuff they put REAL HEAVY DUTY marketing resources behind it so it actually penetrated consciousness and actually helped those causes from a publicity standpoint. ...I mean, it's the same save the world through consumption crap and I'm sure profit was a major motive for what they did, but at least you could argue that additional good came from it. Hard to make the same argument for BHM or Doermbacher.
Just my opinion.
