Determined to grab a pair today when the options open up. Torn between 4 final CWs. 1st 2 are 1992 bad boy Pistons vs Knicks. Orange is the NASA suit and last is an Olympic gold medal CW.

$120 “premium” joints are in. Materials on both are nice but I’m really feeling the suede. I think the tumbled leather is the same if not better than what was on the anniversary joints from last year. Maybe a little softer. Definitely happy with these, especially the suede pair.

Did the 120 NBY ever have black suede as an option on the eyestay or tongue? I’d like to make a suede courier, and am trying to decide whether to see if they’ll restock the material or just get a grey version.

Nope, the black suede was never an option for the eyestay or tongue. Obviously makes an all-black suede pair impossible but it also makes it hard to do black/grey suede combos since you usually want the darker color on the toe/eyestay/foxing panels.
