They're dyed in tanks. These were left in the purple dye over night last night. I think most of the time they dye them for less time.

Yes and no. You can’t tell them a specific time. But say you wanted a light purple, medium or dark purple they could do that; same if you wanted just the toe dipped or half the shoe dipped.

nawghtyhare I saw the stone/coral and olive canvas in a Jimmy Jazz this morning. Both $100 each. Olive is the better pair IMO. Suede toe and canvas heel on the olive, full canvas on the stone pair.
