1's always turn me off because they've been butchered with stupid colorways.
They made up for it with the Nike Air Black Toes and Royals. White/Red could have been the icing on the cake, but JB knows that, so they used it as leverage to keep you waiting.

Yeah, often with the I's they don't seem to realize less is more and people want basic colorways and materials.
