I hate that idea. I live in an area that gets nothing other than huge GRs, so it's always online or bust. I have a lot of success scoring online for pairs that didn't release anywhere near me, like the Chicago 1s. Without online I'd have no chance.
Well I agree that the best solution is tomake these GRs but that isn't in Nike's business plan, apparently. I suppose they could continue to have online releases as normal (and let people online get screwed over) until they fix these issues. However, when bots crash their site, it not only makes Nike look bad but they also hurt financially as people who aren't sneakerheads can't shop there either... Very rarely does a b&m retail store ever have to close its doors during a big release.
