Broke these out for the first time today. Seems like the quality on these is better than my white pair.. Not by a lot but definitely better. Anyone else that has both pairs of the LM's noticed this?

Nah it's true imo- the blacks feel better to the touch.

Wish I hadn't heard this but glad I did though.

Meant to say rubbery. It doesn't crease no matter how much you bend it. Some people may like it, guess I just didn't feel the quality in it.

I just got delivered the pack recently from a  fellow NTer 

Black are definitely the better leather. Buttery smooth and supple whereas the white seems a little more tougher and cardboardy. Not to say the white's arent very nice in their own right - they are, just I think the black LM's are up there with some of the best 1's Ive seen.

Yup, they used the 2013 mold. I would have gladly paid $20 more for the 2015 mold and materials.

In the SP pic, they appear to be the same mold as the 2013, but definitely not in the 2015 "remastered" mold.

Traded my db x plus he gave me $125. I'm happy. 1s are my favorite . working g on a pair of tans ATM. Then all I'll need is the whites for the set.
Being in Australia its hard. Not like in USA . we don't have many pairs in this country
