Haha i checked their follower count as soon as i got the MysterMonday email, it was like 1k. They are up to 10k now. would have been cool to drop the info for the people that were already subscribed, but i get it from their perspective.

They probably held onto a pair or two from 2013. Not the first time a store has used this strategy. It's basically just to get their name out there.
