I guess the red sole would have screwed the vibe up but I'd probably prefer them with the black tongue. No31 had a purple sole, so that wouldn't have really worked unless they 2-toned it like those 1/2 hybrids.
#31's sole is black and so is the sole on that old magazine scan pair a page or two back I think. But yeah, a red sole or a purple sole would've looked weird in some fashion so I get it.
I disagree on the black tongue, I'm glad they went with white. I am interested to see how they would've looked with one though, both pre and post paint-stripping.

Yeah man. They are both incredible. I actually sold Shadows previously, and then I recently decided- they are too versatile to not have in rotation. And I’m very happy with the quality on them.
