why put him in hyped product when that stuff sells on its own. put him in stuff that isn't selling to boost sales.

That was my original thought. "I guess it’s good marketing on JB/Nike’s part to have him wearing a mid." But then counterproductive to that is the fact that he's got the tongue covered all the way up. If I was trying to market Mids, I'd show the Jumpman proudly.

White laces do look dope, I've just always had the imagery of black laces only in my Chis. I did go with sail/white laces in my ROTYs though, and it does look dope.

Black Laces are absolutely, 100% necessary in Chicagos. It breaks up all the red and white nicely, matches the swoosh, and gives the shoe balance. White doesn't have the same effect.
