Black/reds-un-ds on release day and have been in the rotation since. Used cedar shoe trees from day 1. These would be utterly unwearable or nasty AF if I didn’t use those cedar trees.

Gold toes owners need some trees too.

I was having pretty bad glitter on these consistently, grabbed that leather honey in April, used once and haven’t had any issues since.

I just grabbed some from amazon. I need to spend an afternoon cleaning and treating my 1’s it’s going to be a hassle lol

I’m assuming the leather honey conditioner correct? I’m using meguiars wipes & the glitter always comes back

Yeah the cleaner and conditioner. Seems to be doing the job for now. I don’t get too caught up in the glitter stuff but these were consistently covered so I figured it was worth trying.

My feet sweat a lotttt so that would have destroyed the leather and made the shoes smell like an old gym bag. Not to mention, ruining the shape of the overall shoe: curving upward like a banana. Keep using the cardboard if it works for you; I know what’s worked for me.

All mine were good for years when stored in dry conditions... Moved in with girlfriend, shoes were now exposed to cold damp conditions... Glitter showed up. (my 2 cents)

Bad glitter, live in the tropics. I think humidity and possibly warmth, drives out that material (spew) from the leather.

I still say it isn’t leather causing the issue, since it’s only on the black parts. Gotta be the stuff they use to paint the material black.

I kept all mine in og boxes. When I bought a large shoe rack and let them all breathe, the glitter slowed down.

Satins blacktoes are up on footlocker /champs .... at least here in nyc it looks like they will be found at a lot of locations that typically don’t get 1s - hopefully this is a sign of an easy lift for those who want.

Over all the years on NT, I have seen Silica packs do magic for preventing clear soles from yellowing. I haven’t personally used silica gel packets because yellowing soles don’t bother me much but I’ve witnessed them do workkk.
