It is but the Jordan line might have flopped if that was released as his first shoe. Nothing attractive about the the Air Ship at all.

I agree, it's no where near as attractive as the Jordan 1, but it being the true banned shoe rather than a marketing gimmick has to carry weight.

The general public don't care and are looking for Banned 1's. NT is made up of people passionate about the history so it does hold weight to some.

While I far and away prefer the looks of the AJ1 version of this colorway, I am interested in this shoe purely for the history it's attached to.

I think Air Ships is a great name for them, even in small sizes they look like boats. I understand the desire for them from the enthusiast and collector stand point.

If that stitching wasn't blue I'd cop.. it throws off the entire shoe for me. I like them better than the joint with the "air Jordan" written on them tho.

I think my biggest issue with these is actually the aged midsole. I'm tired of it and we just got the L&F's.

Same exact complaint. The L&F kind of takes the hype out of these a bit, but they are still cool
