I hate that the OG lows are so popular now. I was able to pick them all up with ease before but such is life. I have the main OG's I want so I guess I am good.

Man I remember when the Blk n red OG lows first dropped I was working a graveyard shift and I asked my bro to line of for me at the mall that am. No one was there so he just scooped me up a pair. When the royal lows came out I copped a week early cuz I feared they were going to sell out…. About a year later, both can be had at the clearance outlet at $50 a pop.
I remember putting a sz. 9 metallic navy low at $50 back on the hash cuz I thought I was fine with one pair

2015 Bred and Royal lows had that cardboard toebox. Clearance rack was exactly where they belonged

I'm still shocked about the current status of lows.
Back in 2015 (or whenever it was) people would've said, it would take a global pandemic, perfectly timed documentary, clout, hype, social media, cryptocurrency level world change events for Jordan 1 lows to have any kind of demand.
Just looking back at the time period in this thread....we were worried about paying retail....and mad about shipping charges lol.
Found a couple old pics of mine. Can't even remember what the black/red pair was. It was even a less popular version then the OG cws, mettalics, and luxe versions that were widespread back then.
I liked them, not like a huge fan, but liked lows for the ease of wear. But from what I remember, the materials and comfort were terrible.
Going back even further, to the early 2000s, from couple posts above, when whatever those things first released? What were they called?
