They could've dropped these in July as a 4th of July/ Olympics release. Honestly these are miles from the PE (which makes sense, but is a disappointment).

My low mochas just came and there are some differences compared to highs. Swoosh has slightly different texture and brown leather has slightly different color but it's not that noticeable, depends of the lightning. Sole is lighter tone but that could be because my highs are dirty lol
These are my first lows I'll be keeping, not because of the mocha hype but I just love cream/brown colorways. I just hate that they were more expensive than highs lol

I wonder why they didn't do a black outsole. I'm gonna cop (on sale) regardless but putting a grey sole on these is kinda pointless.

Exactly! Theres no grey on the sneaker so makes no sense why they would put grey over black. The sneaker legit looks incomplete now.

Whats also crazy in the side to side pic comparison is how much of a difference the midsole look/shape has changed from then to now. You saved yourself some disappointment. The highs were nice in theory but they were sub par quality for a shoe that hyped. Plastic leather all around. I remember getting them thinking I’d be giving my Travis highs a rest but I ended up just selling the for more worn than I paid new. Maybe the Travis’ spoiled me a little bit but I remember being so much more impressed by the quality of the Tokyo’s that came out before hand.

I don’t expect much from a quality perspective from these lows but if they’re easy to get and/or go on sale I’d say it’s still worth it.

The nubuck/suede on the heel looks nice quality but from what I seen the leather quality is supposed to be similar to the shadow and barons lows we got earlier this year which isn't anything great.

Still would've went with black but this is a pretty valid reason. I can't hate on it for any reason other than aesthetics.

I always wondered if this was unintentional or not on Nike’s part. I know they were still figuring out how to scale production so I wonder if they didn’t have the correct tooling available in order to produce this OG cw with the black outsole (which would be weird given they already had it on the OG BWs).

Need more 85 lows. Ready for those white black lows, wonder when the white brown 85 lows will leak? I got rid of all my non 85 1s. I can’t even look at the others the same anymore. Wish those mochas were 85 cut.
