One of the most recent pics, besides the one Sir Charles posted a few pages back.
We've seen this one already, but to shift the discussion back to the SNEAKERS, here it is again.
Based on the pics posted by AirThompson, looks like the overall shape is close to original, or at least last retro.
Lets keep the discussion about the Royals... plz & thnx
Lets get this back on track, with pics of past releases. Hopefully pics surface in the upcoming days to quit the unnecessary talk.

View media item 240664Fellow NT'er So Much Sole pair, not sure if he still has em. The original black and royal blue 1's featured a parachute tongue, white insole with a blue Nike Air text, thick vandal-esqe midsole, with a wide toe box, & a complete leather upper.
You gotta understand that a lot of people buy the shoes because they like it. I do agree that the releases have been wayyyyy out of had. I believe it's more of a resellers fault than anything. At least the kids you're talking about will wear the shoes cuz it "looks cool," while resellers jack up the price. But no hate on my side. If I get a shoe I want then I'm happy, and if I don't, ain't nothing. I'll keep it moving. At the end of the day, they're just shoes. This is an amazing sneaker. In recent years the hype for these release has been getting out of hand. Kids that dont even know anything behind the history of these sneaker are clogging up store lines and online servers. This is a grail pair for me and i hope im able to get my hands on a pair. At least they dont have a nick name, maybe the beast wont pay attention to this release.

Both pics look good, I gotta see what looks best in person...The blue laces do like nice, but I gotta keep it factory with the black ones.
I believe they look their best with black laces.
