The "ultras" would be the 'new and improved' versions. If they changed materials and design, people would complain and say they arent like the originals (see years of complaint about jordan XIs). They started doing ultras, which are lighter and refined a bit to "make improvements". However, most of the ultras are less material, more comfort, more expensive, and look different.

I'm fortunate to live in the NYC area. I entered the in app reservation thing. If I win, I'm gonna need to trek 55 miles back and forth to and from Long Island...on a work day. I feel for those that won't be able to cop outside the area.

I just talked my co-worker again, who works at footlocker part time, and he confirmed that house of hoops in my city is getting them although the launch locator says otherwise. So we will see

A good and bad thing. I don't like to do "work" to get some sneakers. I would be happier (and others would) if you could just stumble in to buy a pair of golds. On the other hand, I am still fortunate to at least have a *chance* to buy them retail. It's all messed up. I blame hypebeasts and Instagram.
