ebay is kinda dry when it comes to 97s

I slept on the silver ones 3 years ago

Me too man Every time they retro'd those. I wish I had bought the gold ones back in 2010 also.

I wouldn't mind if any 97's retro'd right now, especially considering summer is coming up.

97s are very underrated when it comes to the big 3 air maxes(87s, 90s, 95s).

On ebay you mostly see old pairs that are not wearable. The Olympic 97s are nice, the gold is not too feminine looking in my opinion.

I had a pair of Grape 97s in high school that I gave away a few years ago.

Nike has been pumping out too much hyperfuse and engineered mesh garbage for too long

I'm still relatively new to the whole air max scene, so please explain. Like for example, I know about some of the classic OG colorways of some air maxes. But when a retro releases I wouldn't be able to know if the shape is correct, color blocking on point, materials are close to the OG...etc..

Love the 97, wish they got more love like the 95s and 97s release wise

Have silver bullets but they are beaters at this point, would love to have the hyperfuse joints

where there any other changes?

doubt we'll see any 97 retroes this year, but I hope that next year in 2017, for the 20th anniversary, we get a lot of re-issues and new colorways. 

is Nike still doing the whole anniversary thing for shoes?

Nice to see people posting in here... Decided to go through my closet and dig out my 97s. Silver 97s were the first AM I was really blown away by and got me into AMs in general. There's so many other colorways I'd love to have but being a sz 14/15, options are pretty limited

Me and my boy were just talking about how scarce these have become online. There's probably less than 4 ir 5 in my size on eBay. I really want a pair of Silver Bullets. At this point I'd settle for the EM or Hyperfuse pair just to have one lol

This "minor" detail erks me more than anything, especially on the AM98's.. I even thought of painting it lol, but I wear the crap out of my shoes and it would def wear off
