This thing is stupid then. Can we at least hook it up to a computer and use as a tablet?

what are you doing with photoshop etc. that you think using ur finger would be a accurate way to design and edit things?
This is a HUGE fail in my book...why just make a supersized iTouch?

At least on other netbooks you can run regular applications...

MacBook Pro > This nonsense.

Doesn't even have any connectivity to a mobile network...

is it really not gonna be connected to a mobile network? have they announced that... coz if so then it's even more hopeless

edit: it has to be able to connect to a carrier... i think they'll announce that later with price etc

Flash as in flash websites. One of the big fails with the iPhone is that it does not support flash websites. So think like flash movie players are all not usable when you go on the web.

I hope dude didn't think this could have been a 430ex II replacement.

Not full versions like I was hoping for. I'm sure Adobe may port scaled down versions for this but I wanted a full OS. Not this iphone/ipod OS.

Still trying to figure out why I would buy this over an ipod touch who does all this in an easily portable package. Come on apple you better bring this home in a major way, or this will be an iFail.

That should be the retail description for it.

Unless you live in a insanely large house, there is no way I am grabbing a iPad over a Macbook. If anything, this is for portability. If you just buy it for the crib, I think that is a gigantic waste of money.

I'mma write a diss song to the iPad... "iPad, you think you're so cool and such/in reality ur just a big i-touch..." yeeeeuuuh

That might give iPad sales a run for its money.

The iPad looks great but I'm not sold on this at all. Apple says it does certain things better than smartphones and notebooks but I don't see it. This honestly just looks like a glitzier iTouch. I haven't seen anything from the presentation, other than the larger Google maps and the eBook reader, that is that impressive.
