Scooped up this pristine 89/90 Reign Man yesterday. I know almost next to nothing about early Champion authentics but everything seemed on point and quality of the stitching is great - only thing is the jerry logo is super tilted lol. LC? Either way I’m good - worth a gamble at $50…

Something is up with that designed and tailored tag. That tag style wasnt used until 94-95.

For what its worth, these double tagged champion authentics with no listed +length on them are usually customs.

Cant speak to whether it was a legit blank or not as people do buy/sell the jocktags and the sofasurfers of the world will try to pass a jersey off like this as a procut. But interesting find for $50 none the less

nice pick up for $50. i could have sworn the #s were screen printed just food for thought.

The jersey isn't right. Home sonics jerseys were screenprinted and not stitched. It looks good on quick glance, but it's not accurate.

Official grail pickup this week boys. Very excited to finally own one of these. If I could get a home version of the jersey, even better but those babies are rare. Don't see too many of these with the sewn on Champion logo but I'll take it. Neck line is also different. My gut tells me this is legit but can anyone else verify?

Someone had a blank and got the numbers embroidered. It's a great price but it's not accurate.

As mentioned everything should be screen printed. The number and name font are both incorrect as well. I’m guessing that the nba logo was custom embroidered as well, many blanks from that era did not have the nba logo and only had a single jock tag. You can probably get all this fixed fairly easily. Jersey itself is probably legit

Its legit - champion had poor quality control that led to a lot of manufacturing errors on the retail jerseys. As u noted its supposed to have a V neck… at least the crew neck looks better imo

That's a relief. Thanks bud. Crew neck does look better, least it matches my other Champions. Only wish it was a size 40 but I'll live with it being a little baggy on me.
