muscle cars BEEN heavy, get off that already...if someone wanted to GUT a entire charger and make it a track car it would be a 10 second car or less runninstock settings.

a SRT charger is a mere supercharger and computer tune from shuttin up anything u talkin about.

and think about it like this..how much $$$ you gotta pour into a wack civic to make a 4 cl car try and compete wit a 6.1 liter V8
laugh.gif

a boosted d series would pull on a charger....for less than 2k

you're trying to argue dumping 10k into a car that's suppose to be fast in the first place...

actin like "dumpin" a supercharger isn't what most MOPAR enthusiast don't already do

let's see what you just said.

let's take da highest trims of both cars a civic type R

2007 Honda Civic Type R Specifications
Chassis
Brakes F/R:ABS, vented disc/disc
Tires F-R:225/40 ZR18
Driveline:Front Wheel Drive
Engine
Type:Inline-4
Displacement cu in (cc):122 (1998)
Power bhp (kW) at RPM:198(148) / 7800
Torque lb-ft (Nm) at RPM:142(193) / 6500
Redline at RPM:8000
Exterior
Length × Width × Height in:n.a.
Weight lb (kg):2792 (1267)
Performance
Acceleration 0-60 mph s:6.4
Top Speed mph (km/h):146 (235)
Fuel Economy EPA city/highway mpg (l/100 km):n.a. (12.7)

and a SRT 8 charger

Vehicle Type: - 4-door sedan
Configuration: - Front Engine
Engine: - 6.1 L HEMI V8
Capacity: - 6059 cc
Power: - 425 bhp at 6200 rpm

u already at a 200+ horse power disadvantage from da jump....dumpin a turbo charger in da civic is gonna be useless since best case scenario you'll barelyedge out a STOCK

Srt charger, so imagine how insignificant its gonna make da Type R look like when u actually have it supercharged?

your blatant disrespect on american muscle skews you common

sense.

Comparing a GT car to a luxury car to an ultra-luxury sedan is far from a cogent argument.

auto these days are as competent or even better then they're manual counterparts. when it comes to optimum shifting.

The car in question hardly is competent even in its faux sequential setting.

touche', it all depends on da car.

Ninjahood man, people here do like muscle cars whether you believe it or not. New muscle cars from anything (Dodge especially) are garbage though. Muscles havealways been heavy, but they've only recently broken through 4000 pounds.

thats not tellin da whole story....if your car has a ton of torque as well as high HP numbers you'll have heavy acceleration in both high and low RPMs

I always wanted the hoodscoop on the MSRT but when it finally happened, it just looked too friendly.
Production numbers alone make me want to own one though

I can already tell where this argument is gonna go. There is no talking to you about cars. Now, can you answer my 2nd question. Do you own adomestic?

Oh that's simple; they weigh over 4000 pounds. They have improved the handling drastically though, but they're not going to go anywhereuntil they lower the weight. You can pull off crazy numbers from the internet all you want, but power to weight ratio is everything.
