Official Billions Thread: Season 7 (Final Season), Episode 9 (10/6/23) - Game Theory Optimal

Axe still that dude. Very good first episode! And that Wendy...how could you not like Wendy and the way she reads people.

It’s a little ridiculous now how every random character makes these uncalled for deep cut hobby based/pop culture references.

When that reporter made that blues reference I’m like what the ****

It was cool when it was Chuck, Axe, and Wags but it’s like the writers just jam that into the dialogue no matter who is in the scene every ep like they want ppl to google this ****

Anyway real good first ep for the last season. Naturally wanted more Axe but it was a good start.

They trying to frame this man Prince like he’s the next Hitler. ****ing quoting him and talking about taking out China or Russia. Almost felt like I was watching House of Cards and they was gunning for Frank Underwood  These white ppl something else man. Just causing problems for themselves.

Everything ends with a big speech now. It’s so draining and just sucks the air out of everything.

I just want to see Chuck Rhodes lose very big.

I can’t believe they are doing all of this simply because Wendy decided that Prince was dangerous. No other reason besides that. White women are something else.

This is all so exhausting. Prince versus Chuck is just not interesting.

I’m glad someone finally called Wendy out on her ****.

Havent watched any eps this season, sucks im this disinterested but I keep forgetting about it. At this point might as well just wait until the season is over and binge it. Or wait until finale night and watch the season right before that 🤷🏾‍♂️

Something about this spoiled milk white woman just getting everyone to go against themselves simply because she thinks she’s right just isn’t sitting well with.

At least a white man is going to be on the receiving end of her wrath.

Not enough Axe in this season so far. Just one ep. Instead I get a Killer Mike listening party.

 @ Spyros

Gotta say one of the bigger mistakes Prince made was just wholesale inheriting Axe’s entire team

It’s a bit annoying how the AG and this new commish trying to squeeze Chuck cuz Ira got robbed. Kinda want Chuck to go scorched earth on them now. So unnecessary

 @ Connerty being a hibachi chef.

Nice play to screw Prince in the end.

Wendy, Wags & Taylor are out here committing actual crimes to manufacture Prince’s downfall. I just don’t understand.

Yeah they had us duped with the "He's back" trailer for this season. Axe been in one episode

Are you ****ing kidding me. They put Triple H on the show

Chuck should've been talking with Vince McMahon.

At least Axe was in this. That meeting with Chuck in ages was a lot down though.

The show needs more Louis Litt  🔥

the ending of episode 8 was pretty good but these non-stop cultural references are too much already. 4 more episodes and it’s over.

Mike Pence still hasn’t done anything worthy enough of everyone coming together like Voltron.

Axe was a menace and no one blinked an eye besides Chuck.

Wags is one freaky *****

Given the plot of this season and Stoll's role being the main focus I can't help but think of House of Cards and Frank Underwood.

Cuz you're absolutely right. They're doing all this **** to prevent him being prez based off of a what if due to his personality. Its nonsense. It'd be better and make more sense if he actually had a closet of skeletons or a bunch of bodies buried that led to his wealth.

It'd be simple if he was more like Underwood.

The more I think about it even though they knew ahead of time Lewis was leaving the show I think this plot somehow was for Bobby originally. Somehow someway for some reason Axe would want to become president and then Chuck would go after him and Wendy would have the gut wrenching decision to betray him for w/e reason. Naturally Taylor would too but Wags wouldnt and basically be doing what Scooter is now.

Just finished episode 7 and situations like MPC taking the employees who make millions to a casino with 5k worth of chips and them being giddy about it like school children is why I find this show hard to look forward to. Also I refuse to believe that robotic people like Taylor and Philip exist in real life

Axe looked like one of those undercover NYC cops trying to dress young. Looking old and washed up.

I want to see Prince wjn honestly at this point.

idc how he looked. the ending to that ep was finally the **** i been waiting for. looking forward to prince getting taken down.

two more eps to go.

What a badass last 5 min 🔥

It really was like old Billions where Axe has a problem and comes up with a solution in the 25th hour to win. How he wasn't mobbed in his city with all that press (dressed like a washed member of U2) was funny

Prince should not have poked the bear.

Just leave Bobby alone. Don't endanger Wendy but he ain't know and had to learn the hard way. Now he at risk of being President ****.

Can't wait till Wags gives Axe Chuck's poison pill thumbdrive just to get Chuck off his back at the end of this.

Sadly they do.

You really consider Phillip robotic like Taylor? I feel like he's doing it more in the imitation sense. He's trying to project that image but in truth he's just corny, boring, and a bit of a stiff.
