Not going to happen, I guarantee it. The BlackBerry Bold is the new flagship phone for RIM. Both the Curve8900 & the Bold have their pros andcons which makes for good versatility for consumers. However, if they put 3G on the Curve8900... then that would be the clear-cut winner when trying to decidewhich phone to get and makes the Bold no-longer the flagship phone. The Curve8900 will DEFINITELY have EDGE on it. Besides, it's supposed to be exclusiveto T-Mobile first so I'm hoping it drops in December. It will eventually be released on AT&T (without 3G of course) but likely in March of '09, or3 months after it releases on T-Mobile.Originally Posted by superblyTRIFE
If AT&T gets a 3G Javelin, it's a wrap. I'll jump ship quick. I thought about switching for the Bold, but I can't get down with the QWERTY on it--the keys are way too close for me to bang out texts and emails easily. I like everything else about it though.
I just hope that with the Bold and Storm out of the way, a lot more info on the Javelin starts leaking very soon. The Storm is so damn tempting, but the Jav is what I really want.

I have a couple questions.
I want a BB Storm, but am currently with Sprint. Is there anyway I can buy the Storm and have it activated for Sprint?

Lastly, are there any new BB's coming out for Sprint next year?
i dont know fam - i mean you have to remember with blackberrys theres alot of memory clog- so that joint you were using has been messed with by abunch of people before you just adding to that log- plus its still an early version and the next revision should run smoother-Originally Posted by hollowpoints
I finally got a chance to stop in @ Verizon and check out the Storm-def. has its pros and cons. Surprisingly, I didn't have a problem typing on the Storm- I managed to type a lot more accurately on it than on my friend's iphone. Wasn't too impressed by the clicking keyboard, it's just aiight. The screen is real nice for watching video and the speaker is DUMB loud, my girlfriend was a couple feet away when I turned it up and she was like, "DAMN!" It is a bit slow to respond to commands, but not annoyingly so. Then again, after using one for a couple weeks it might get to be an issue if RIM doesn't address it soon. One thing I didn't like is navigating through the menus when you click the BB key, don't know if it's that I 'd have to spend more time with it than just toying with a display model, but I just think that the trackball is a lot more efficient/accurate. I'll be passing on the Storm and just pick up a Curve to replace my 8830WE.
