On my 8900, I go Options > Password.
I just tested it and it worked fine, I may need to enable that.

yea, but u gotta lock the whole phn...like u cant just lock your txts and stuff

He did not ask to lock anything, he said "lock them" as in lock the blackberry.

The 9000 (Bold) is already with AT&T, I do not think that the 8900 Curve is going to AT&T.
