are slot machines basically reverse ATMs?

I just don't see how anybody comes out ahead.  Plus everybody playing looks miserable

That kills me, but what REALLY kills me are the people who play 2 hands at a table. Every once in a while they will take a hand out and mess up the flow. There are always going to be losing streaks in blackjack. You just have to "weather the storm" and get threw it. I also hate people who play two hands and take hits based off of both of their hands, instead of playing each hand individually. For instance, if a guy has a 15 on the first hand and a 12 on second hand and he is facing a 10... even though you are supposed to hit on the 15 he will stay because he has a better chance on not busting when hitting on the 12. I HATE that

I might go to the casino this weekend I will update with my results.

i stopped blackjack for this sole reason..i hate playing with players that are scared to gamble..even high limit players do this garbage. Only time ill play blackjack now is if i open my own table. Double deck is ok because players cant come in mid deck but the streaks are also shorter so it limits you to a big win in one shoe unless youre rolling 1k+ a hand

^ Yea the two handers are the worse ones..people don't understand momentum and rhythm..yea gambling is about luck but it's just something you feel especially when you get hot you know when to bet big and when not to..you just feel it. Oh and I love playing poker on a random day in the week like any day monday through Thursday. It's all senior citizens or a bunch of 9-5vers gambling they're money so they don't have to go home yet. Easy money. The senior citizens tho man they don't eff around no bluffing from them but easy to bluff.

Used to work in a casino for 4 years.  There is no "real" strategy on how to win on table games.  It's all about luck and timing.  Just don't be surprised or mad if you lose what you bring, and if you win, it's like a bonus.

So came back from AC this morning.

Stayed at the Taj and Harrahs.

Had a great time, my best weekend financially at AC in 3 years.

Crushed the craps tables for $1700.

Made 100 on roulette on a match play "free $50" from Taj for signing up for their players card. Then at one point was up $400 at the blackjack tables at Harrah's but ended up even at the end of the 5th shoe.

I'll remember the hand where it all went south too. I had about $500 in red and green chips sitting in front of me, I get 8,8 against dealer 7. Obviously I split, first hand my 8 gets hit with a another 8 so I split that too, first eight gets hit with a 4, so I hit again and get another 4, hit again and bust. Next 8 gets a 4 also, hit again 10..bust...at this point I'm pissed so I get to my 3rd and last 8, and it gets hit with a 2 so I double down and get a lousy 6...dealer eventually hit towards a 18 and I lose...it was awful.
But it's all good, did great had a great time with friends. It's just funny you always remember those loses.

Craps was so lovely there was 7 of us and we held down one side of the table and 2 of the people I was with rolled for about 2 hrs in the span of 2 rolls!!! we were so hot, it was amazing.

yea it's a great feeling, ordering beers, high fiving, playing the fire bets (exclusive to Harrah's) having all the #'s on the board at one time, back betting your pass line with huge stacks...just an amazing run
