again.. i am very superstitious when it comes to craps, and i HATE losing on another shooter when they shoot in a manner that i find unacceptable.  the most unacceptable shooting thing you can do (in my book) is to friggin limp wrist it so it barely hits the backwall.  Not only will this annoy the hell out of the bossman and other dealers, but i swear it results in a much higher ratio of 7's to non-7's.

also... keep the damn dice on the table.  once them dice go flying you know a 7 is iminent.

 i feel the same way.
another superstition of mine is... and i swear it happens 99% of the time. every time i'm on a hot streak (or even someone else), and it hits a stack of chips at the other end of the table, it's an automatic 7 when the dice lands.

97% for me man.  I know EXACTLY what you are talking about.  I swear I can feel the 7 even before the dice stop rolling just based on how they bounce off a stack of chips or bounce off each other (in particular if they hit each other and then shoot out sideways directly away from each other).

@venom - I am also supserstituous about pit placement.  I like to take the spot directly to the right of the stickman because I am left handed and shoot palm down but with my hand/arm in a down to up motion (kinda like Daniel-san in Karate Kid when he is doing "Paint the Fence").  I like for my dice to land right near the back wall then imemdiately hit the wall and not get too much roll in between initial landing and backwall touch.  It is difficult for me to do this from the left of the stickman because I would be shooting cross body.  Its also difficult to do this from the end of the table because of the added distance I have to carry with my throws (so I am less accurate in hitting my targetted landing zone).
concur about hitting chips. once i see dice ricochet off chips, i cringe.

i will admit, i do throw kinda hard and flat so dice tend to go flying, but at least i change em out each time.

the thing that really grinds my gears to no end, is the old dudes at the end of the table who take 12039204920 hours to set the dice and roll. like they gotta tilt the dice on the left side using only their pinky ever so gently in order to show 6 face up, but you had flip through 2 and 5 first. like dudes who have this whole nomar garciaparra batters box ritual. im superstitious too, but i dont take it that far. i do admit that im kinda impatient, but i hate slow games.

2) Do they have a poker room?

This would really help my commute time.... instead of going to atlantic city/connecticut to play

my friend actually did the electrical work in this casino, they are currently working fast to open up the 2nd floor in the casino.
no table games yet it's illegal in NY, there will be a vote on it in a few yrs though.

all the games they have there, craps, roulette, are all video based, but it's been packed since it opened.

That's crazy as hell, I could never play video games, thats an automatic fail.

For craps there's a video on YouTube that teach you how to set dices, it gives you a little more edge then just throwing it...

It works pretty good every time I tried it, I roll for a good 30 to 45 mins...

I won a few hundred on the blackjack table last night. That is all I play.

Anyone go to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem PA? I am there at least twice a week.

Won big...then turned around and gave it back last night. Always saying I wil walk away...but I can count on one hand how many time that's happened. Hate the feeling of knowing you had it and just lost it all...stupid $+%*. I feel so stupid leaving the table knowing I should have walked away earlier.

call me crazy, but i dont believe in dice setting or anything like that. there are so many variables that go into the roll, personally i dont think its possible to "minimize 7s" like the video says. unless youre throwing with the exact same motion and the exact same strength and the exact same physics apply on the table.

ill be the first one to admit im an idiot, but i cant imagine this is possible.

THIS!!!!
I've been in the same boat in the past fam. What I've learned from this mistake is to ALWAYS have a goal before you sit down.

That way, once you achieve this goal you know what time it is, contrary to just sittin there w/ all that bread right before your eyes thinking losing it all isn't a realistic possibility.

Aint no such thing as strategy in craps. Stop the non-sense. Only BJ and Poker need somewhat fundamentals.

I've been waiting on a thread like this for a while. I had a period about a month ago where I went to the casino 10 times in 14 days. smh. I only play craps and I play the dont pass 90% of the time. Unless im rolling. I will play the dont pass when I roll as well. Its made me a lot of money. I've been twice this week and won $500 total. I think I'm gonna go later.

I kno people dont believe in setting the dice but I will say that it does reduce the 7 if you play enough. I have plenty of sites for betting strategies and dice rolling. I even have golden touch craps dvd. Its helped my game a lot.
