OFFICiAL CHANCE THE RAPPER THREAD. ACID RAP-OUT NOW!/ Tour Dates Added to Pg 1

I'm gonna have to give this more listens. I just don't think this is that good other than No Problem.

It's pretty mediocre and I would say Acid Rap might be better than this.

Its a good follow up to Acid Rap doesnt surpass it tho...

Its some perfect songs on here, but its also some real average stuff... Acid Rap was flames all the way through.

Yeah Acid Rap man....That was a trip, great storytelling.

Juke Jam really is :Nthat.

With all these features Chance could've really made this an album.

Quint be knowing b. He loved this tape. Crazy how some in here not feelin' this tape.

**** is dope AF.

Facts. Acid Rap is on a different level compared to Surf and Coloring Book

Acid raps is definitely better but the tape ain't terrible. It has a gospel feel to it which is kind of an adjustment after listening to his older stuff.

Surf technically isn't Chance's project though. It's the Social Experiment, a collective of artists. He was just featured on some of the songs.

Yall making me feel like Im crazy, cause I think this tape is AMAZING. I vibed to every single song. This is definitely heavily gospel influenced, and if that aint your cup tea... then this tape, or maybe even Chance just isnt for you.

This level is where I was hoping Kanye would be at this point of time, but...

Wish he had a voice transplant, cause dude is so creative and versatile and has his own sound, but has an almost unbearable voice. Still will bump Favorite Song and Worst Guys though, and will look forward to his joint project with Childish Gambino

This was actually the first Chane the Rapper project I've ever listened to (trust me Im ashamed) but idk if its my church upbringing but I love this album. Its nice for once to actually hear music and rap in particular that makes you feel good and happy. I used to think Chance's flow and voice was a little to gimmicky but with this album that thought never once crossed my mind. This is the first album I've heard all year that I don't skip a single song. Im officially a fan now.

The reason its good and not great to me is def not the gospel vibe tho. The gospel influence is really the strongest attribute of the album imo.

what knocks it off Acid Raps heels are DRAM Sings Special, Mixtape, All Night... those songs are cool but seem more like filler and could have been replaced with one great song or at least two more of higher quality.

Smoke Break and Juke Jam are dope in their own right as well and they are needed to break up the churchy vibe but its not like each record is on some next level steez.
