OFFICIAL COMIC BOOK THREAD

I was actually extremely surprised that the first issue of Civil War 2 featured the Inhumans being so open and honest with the other heroes :lol During one of the few times where I think them just lying would've made the most sense. Seems more in their nature to keep a trump card this big a secret for the next time things go wrong for them.

Bro! Brian K. Vaughn is the truth. That series is SOOOOOOOO GOOD!

It's one of the few titles I follow today.

Saga's good, but it's not for me. I don't read a lot of indies. I'm trying to get into more. I've been digging The Fix. Cryptocracy and Black Hammer are coming up and look good. Anyone read The Fade Out? I was thinking of buying the trades, but then there's a hardcover releasing in the Fall and I don't want to buy it twice. Kind of want that hardcover more.

I keep hearing good things about Valiant, but none of the characters really appeal to me.

BKV has been my favorite author for a while, I loved what he did with Y the Last man so I kinda check out all his stuff.

I follow much more Image than anything (hence why I don't pop in here often). They typically have stuff that I relate too much more without the crazy back stories.

Question so the Woman Wonder rebirth that was release earlier this June is different from the release today? Or is it a reprint?

Wonder Woman Rebirth #1 is technically Wonder Woman #0. #1 is after the Rebirth issue.

I just got Nighthawk, Doctor Strange, and Flash this week. My shop was sold out of the issues of Action and Detective Comics that released this week. The owner wasn't expecting them to sell as well as they are.

The actual "rebirth" titles are the one shots. the numbered issues from there on forward have the DC universe rebirth crest up top and are the beginning of each series if I recall correctly.

Im reading DC Universe Rebirth superman action comics 958 after reading 52 Justice League...

can someone explain to me how they have Clark Kent and Superman at the same place at the same time when Earth Superman is dead..what am I'm missing [\spoiler]

Haven't read the new Action Comics, but I think it's supposed to be a mystery right now. You could probably go back and read Convergence, Convergence: Superman, and Lois and Clark to get a background on the pre-New 52 Supes back in Rebirth, but the Rebirth series seem to be creating stories that don't require the need of prerequisite reading.

Anybody is reading the DKIII Master Race collection?

In book 2, Mr. Atom is trying to enlarge Baal? Or he was trying to enlarge the city and it was slaughtered by Quar right before he did it? [\spoiler]

In the center of the first issue, there's an Atom mini comic. I have to read it again, but I think Lara brings the jar with the shrunken Kandorians to Ray and Baal asks him if he's able to bring them back. Quar destroyed the jar thing. I can't remember if there were more Kandorians in it who didn't follow him or he just wanted to destroy their former prison.

I'm actually digging DKIII. I don't think it's been that popular because DKII wasn't the best and people don't want them to do anything more with The Dark Knight Returns because of it's classic status. I think issue 5 is this week. I have no idea how Batman is going to handle these guys, especially after how easily they wrecked Supes and Flash.
