But personally I try to get first and second issues of an arc or reboots. If I like it, I'll keep it going.

Trades all day and even above that, if the company makes it available, Omnibus all day.

Both. I get issues monthly to follow characters and stories I like. I'll get the first couple issues of something to see if I like it and drop it if I don't. I like to get trades for older, missed, or classic runs and arcs that you can't piece from cheapo bins in good condition. If I loved a run, I might even re-buy the hardcover just for the convenience of reading it all at once in a nicer form factor.

If you guys have a moviestop nearby I would check it out. They're having a going out of business sale and selling everything super cheap. Comic books, memorbilia, shirts, etc.

Just picked up Jupiters Legacy trade.

Looks like I have to buy the Vol. 2 single issues. Believe that series is only 6 issues.

Check the publication date on that or the creators.

The current Ultimates is just called Ultimates. All-New Ultimates sounds like one of the ultimate universe Avenger books. If you dig UU check it out.

If it's the Ultimates by Ewing and Rocafort then yeah it's good. Its heavy on the sci-fi and cosmic part of Marvel. So if you're in to that you'll like it.

That was the last ultimate title for the Ultimate universe. To me it was just okay.

If you're just looking to read some good Marvel books I would also suggest Grant Morrison's X-Men (New X-Men, it was called?), Secret Wars, the original Ultimates and Ultimates 2, the most recent Miles Morales series, the Vision, and the last two runs of female Thor (which is my favorite Marvel series right now)

If you want to read some good DC you're gonna have to go back a couple years
