How did you get them for free?
I wish I could wear regular Chucks. They don't work for my feet. The Chuck IIs were a godsend.

I won a special raffle and got real lucky. I don't wear regular Chucks because I'm more into J's and Nikes and they're really uncomfy but the Chuck 70 is a good replacement for the Chuck II.. theyre more comfy than the classic Chucks.

I've never tried on the '70s. How are they more comfy? I don't see why they can't just drop the cushioning from the Chuck IIs into the regular Chucks.

Chuck IIs had more changes from the classic Chuck than just the insole.
Wider, different liner, stitched straps on tongue, heel area has more form.
