lets give the awwsome stack a try

Twins are one of the worst road teams in the league, if they were at home I'd say it's a bad pick but all Johnson has to do is get 15 points to hit value and he could do that.

It's a good gamble if you feel it's worth it to fit in other bats.

Yeah :lol Johnson and Matz are my tournament pitchers for tonight. Just trying to see the big bats I can use from the Cards, Royals, Cubs and Mets.

Johnson is a really good play for that price. I'm gonna pair him w/Keuchel I think. Especially if they have a lot of lefties in the lineup. The Twins have a good amount of talent but it's all right handed. So they'll stack their lineup with lefties but EJ has a north of 20% K rate vs. lefties last time I checked. He picked up a change up last year and he's kinda perfected it.

I say you should go full stack more, most times a 6 man stack takes down all the tourneys.

So Mets I'm going Grandy/CesGod/Johnson/Conforto/D'Arnaud/Murphy.

Cubs

Montero/Rizzo/Coghlan/Bryant/Fowler/King Kyle

Maybe sub out Montero or Kyle for Castro or Russell depending on if we get lineup info before lock.

Also might do a Mariners stack.

I've been leaning the same. I love the Cards tonight as well in Cincy. Lorenzen is just so bad vs. everyone :lol

I'm really hoping Conforto batting 7th gets some off of him.

Word, I ain't tripping too much off of that 7th spot because Mets are on the road and if they go off he'll still see 5 AB's with RISP.

u guys aren't feeling the Rays at all against Miley?

Sort of want to go Kelly Johnson if he plays instead of Longo and upgrade OF from Mahtook.

Edit: Kelly is actually off tonight. Don't wanna go Murph cause of his quad strain, still dont think he's 100%.

Miley has been better recently but I'll still have Rays exposure, just not as enticing at Tropicana Park.

I love the Rays against a lefty but it's such a catch-22, especially at home. Either they beat up on Miley, Boston goes to the pen and you only get 5-7 AB's from Guyer/Mahtook/Guyer or they don't beat up on Miley and you get a whole bunch of zips. As soon as Miley is out, half of those right handed bats are out.

Yea they do way too much pinch hitting since they have a bunch of specialists.

The only safe guys or Forsythe and Longoria.

If Mahtook can get an XBH and a RBI it still makes it worth it but idk.

I like Mahtook but I think I'd lean Reimold against Duffy.

Or pray Ruggiano is in the lineup up top against Ray.

Makes sense dudes. At Mahtook's price, he just needs like an RBI double to be worth it.

Reimold isn't a bad look either. Wasn't aware of his splits.
