OFFICIAL Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) Thread - DK,FD vol. Addictive Personalities Beware

So right now this LU is as follows:

Rivers
Bell
Forsett
Bryant
Wright
D. Thomas
Gates
Josh Brown
ATL D

With $1,000 left to spend. Could get Wright for Maclin, still debating that. I'm going for a low % owned team this week. If this squad hits, it's :hat  all day.

Your lineup is definitely solid but I think all yours will have higher than avg ownership except Rivers & Wright.

After a bit more research I'm fading Devanta this week except for one cash lineup. I actually like Chris Thompson's upside in that game but I won't risk serious cash on him

oh no doubt. more of a personal grievance for me :lol

my inner skeptic says the receiver of the 2 that i don't take gets all the catches, and then they run the rest of the game :{
Let me know who you take bruh

i'm leaning sanders because he's 1,000 cheaper.

the lineup i'm tinkering with now:

alex smith
leveon bell
dion lewis
jeremy maclin
julian edelman
emmanuel sanders
charles clay
carlos santos
new york giants

have 300 left over. could move from dion lewis to chris johnson, latavius murray, carlos hyde, or justin forsett. at tight end could move from charles clay to marty b

edit: if i include thursday night and add Nuk Hopkins should i swap edelman or sanders? i'm thinking edelman because i already have dion lewis, but i know the cowboys get a couple guys back on defense that might make it tough on lewis to run. then the question is do i swap him for forsett. decisions decisions.

Interesting read: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/06/sports/fanduel-draftkings-fantasy-employees-bet-rivals.html?_r=0

I have a feeling the Gov't will wait until the industry grows more before they pull off the same stunt they did with poker sites; shut 'em down and hold all funds. Truth be told, no employees working for any of these fantasy sites should be allowed to wager, as there aren't any strict controls on the most valuable pieces of information.

Collusion can be happening across the board. With that being said, I'll work on my 100 line ups tonight since I'll be drunk @ Carnival in Miami for the weekend.

Good luck to all.

Charles Clay vs Gates vs Daniels? Will Gates be rusty and will Daniels get his TD?

Tyrod Taylor to save money or grab Tom Brady?

Jameison Crowder the real deal? Crowder or Wright or Aiken? Or all 3 good options, cus I like all of them.

Nate Washington is officially out so if you're looking for some cheap sleepers, Mumphery is a good one. Vonta will have Hopkins and they suck covering slot receivers. I can see Foster having a huge game catching the ball too.

Does DK provide Fantasy Points per week for each player? I don't see it anywhere on the site.

thanks.

I really hope Dion is not a dud...he did me well week 3, too valuable to pass on, pats stack again 8)

James Jones limited in practice because of a hamstring. I want to put in my thursday lineup (bc i have hopkins in one) but if jones is a late scratch I'm screwed. Damn you fanduel!

I would go with Clay. I still like him even if Watkins play. I know Oakland is bad vs TE but Owen Daniels averaging like 3/15 a game but has scored the last 2 games. I have him in a few line ups but not going all in.

Brady for sure

Aiken

I read the chargers have 2 receivers banged up so it's basically keenan allen, danny woodhead, and antonio gates. I think he's 5500 on fanduel. Daniels is 4900, but peyton loves DT. Their line hasn't been good so i wonder if they leave him in to block more or not even though the raiders are abysmal vs tight ends

I think the biggest thing if you're ever making a decision based on other people's advice is to vet the reason why they're suggesting a play. For instance, Boobie Dixon may end up starting and getting the Lion's share of carries which sounds good on the surface but it's not enough for me to play him personally.

I like Snead because he's found a groove in their offense, averaging about 6 targets & 12 points a game. Not huge production but the efficiency for $3K allows me to spend the extra money somewhere else and afford a Cobb/Hopkins/etc. without worrying about getting a 0 from my min salary guy.

Because they're playing Philly it's a solid chance he produces above the 12-14 pt range because of the extra opportunities so I like him for tourney play. I'd never use a minimum salary guy in a cash game for the most part

No lie, I have Snead in all line ups. Price is just too cheap. Snaps has increased and he's drawing looks from Brees. With Cooks not off to a great start and Colston is...well Colston, he'll see some targets in a high o/u game.

so should I start travis Benjamin over Moncrief doubt hasselbeck getting good throws at moncrief ?

any advise from you guys would help

already starting James Jones and Demaryius Thomas at my other two WR

the ravens have given up a lot of yards to receivers this year and travis benjamin has been targeted 10 times the last 2 games.

hassellbeck targeted moncrief hilton and fleener 9, 13, and 12 times respectively.

moncrief 6 catches for 75 yards on 9 targets.
hilton 7 for 67 on 13 targets.
fleener 9 for 83 on 12 targts.

the texans shut down julio last week. 4 catches for 38 yards on 6 targets but got torched by leonard hankerson so i think moncrief still has value. the texans are generally good against the run, devonta freeman notwithstanding. i can't really see gore gashing us.

i lean moncrief because i think there's more potential there, even though benjamin gets more targets relative to his teammates.
