Anyways im still learning how to play fantasy baseball. For pitching i look at their match up, strike out rate and possibility of a win. As far as batters, I love to pick on gas cans.. Meaning pitchers who has a bad history against left or right hand batters and i try to choose hitters who are batting no less than 6th.

Kluber - wasnt going against an ace like Syndergaard and Fernandez. SO rate is comparable to the two aces and the win was gonna be there.
Phegley - good history vs LH pitchers and batting 2nd
Ortiz - Mike Wright...a gas can and a RH pitcher. Big Papi vs a gas can RH pitcher? yes please
Hernandez - cheap lead off
Shaw - more exposure to Boston vs Mike Wright
Escobar - cheap lead off
Betts - been on fire and exposure to Boston vs Mike Wright
CarGo - because Coors field
Taylor - cheap lead off
