Yea I forgot about some of the nba players on France:

like Pietrus
Gobert
That rolly polly dude from the Spurs

The only players I remembered was Batum and Parker

Different Pietrus. But the major thing is... how can you forget Noah though....?

How the hell did Spain lose.. I just started watching this game.. Maybe the last 5 mins of the 4th.. And checked the final score, since I didn't believe France would actually win

I keep forgetting about Noah. Lol I keep thinking of him as an American. Which he basically is. He grew up in NY, right?

How many people had this as these dudes as the final four?

Thought it was going to be Greece Spain Lithuania USA

Serbia wasn't too much of a shock. They were a couple bogus calls away from the final in 2010. Turkey got some serious home cooking that year. Didn't expect them to blow out Brazil though, that's for sure.

Still think the US will beat Lithuania, but haven't they always struggled against Lithuania for some reason?

Could be interesting, just saying. Probably not though

Asik faking an eye injury so he wouldn't have to shoot the free throws. I still have no respect for Asik for that move till this day.

Start at the 9:03 mark

Almost lost the Olympic semifinal in 2000 (shot rimmed out at the buzzer)
Split with them in 2004 (lost in pool play, beat them for bronze)
15-point win in 2010 in the semis
5-point win in London

They've given them as much trouble as anyone since 2000.

Do they have the same core as all those previous matches?

No. But it's not like they had the same core in 2000 and 2012, either.

As for this tournament, they did suffer a key injury at point guard, and Jasikevicius retired, so they're hurting on the perimeter.
