Eusebio had to be the first Black player to play in any European national and club team - Just imagine what he went up against.
He wanted to play for RM or Barça but they weren’t allowing Black players. So he had to stay at Benfica the whole time.

Sid Lowe was talking about the journalism in Spain recently. They are all basically tabloids because they put out DAILY 30 page papers. So they have to fill it with any and anything.
There was once a 3 page spread on the haircuts of Madrid players
but xavi ain't playing pique no time soon and alba is even a worse position. Busquets is still useful though. He deserves minutes.

Atleti looked terrible yesterday. It's weird how it seems simeone is trying to change their style. Small segments of high pressing. It's not that they can't do it either. The problem is offensively they don't have the personnel to score when there isn't a lot of space behind the defense.

They've started well in the league but definitely feel like they'd be more dangerous and balanced with Kessie in the XI more consistently, he's only started 17% of the time.
Looks like Xavi's no.1 MF so far this season has been Busquets with Gavi and Pedri.
It's a luxury having those kind of options though to back him up but feel like slowly moving off him being the main starter there would be the best way to go moving forward.
